The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan
In this mystery, imagine the heavens opening up above you, just as they did over Jesus, and the Holy Spirit descending upon you. Imagine the voice of Abba looking at you with the greatest love-regardless of the sins on your conscience, your life story, how greatly you have sometimes betrayed Him, or how many times you have walked away from Him. Only the constant acceptance of the Father's love can set you free from sin, giving you a new identity-as a beloved son, a beloved daughter of God. Believe that you are loved with an unbelievable love.
The Wedding at Cana
In these ten Hail Marys, focus on the unbelievable influence Mary has on Jesus, how the first miracle of Jesus in the Gospel begins because of Her, and how She is the key to the miracles that Jesus will perform in our lives. If something very important that you are praying for is not happening, it may be because you are not yet so united with the Mother of God, and you do not have the kind of love for Mary that Jesus would desire.
The Proclamation of the Kingdom of God
Proclaiming the Kingdom and calling for conversion is also a call to convert yourself and to proclaim the Kingdom of God to others. Conversion is not entering into an experience of how hopeless I am. It is entering into a spiritual shake-up, perceiving how much I have wounded God's love for me, how much I have disregarded His desire to love me. Proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom is a constant acceptance of the good news that I am a person whose mind is entirely directed toward God.
The Transfiguration
Jesus shows us how important it is to go up Mount Tabor before the Passion and gain the certainty of being beloved by God. This experience has the power to transform us in such a way as if we were being created anew by the Holy Spirit. And only when we have such a profound experience of His love will we be able to receive the grace of suffering.
The Institution of the Eucharist
The Eucharist is the expression of the greatest love. It is the greatest proof God can give to man that He loves him. In the Eucharist, Jesus shows us that no one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.
Humanly speaking, we are unable to die for one another, to sacrifice ourselves to the point of giving our lives. Only when Jesus is in us, and we abide in Him, can we truly die in our everyday lives, sacrificing ourselves completely for a husband, a wife, children, but above all for God and for His love.
