The Annunciation

Vocation: we have gotten used to connecting it with the clergy… But after all… every person, every Christian is called. The sentence of Scripture: I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth (Is 49:6) applies to each of us. We must believe that our work, our profession also remain an important testimony of holiness and vocation. Perhaps it is often more effective, because lay people can reach where a priest cannot reach.

The Visitation

Mary entered the history of our Nation from the very beginning, from the moment when the Nation received baptism, from the moment when Poland began to take shape as a nation… We are grateful to God that in the most difficult moments of our history Mary walked with the Nation and conquered. It is impossible to name all the victories that took place in our Homeland through the intercession of the Mother of God.

The Nativity of Jesus

On this Christmas evening it would be enough… to shake hands with one another, look deeply into each other's eyes, embrace one another with a feeling of love. To see those tears of the suffering… Yet Christmas Day resounds with the angel's message: Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests (Lk 2:14). For God entrusted peace to people on Christmas night. Peace on earth. Peace of human hearts and consciences. Peace is a good for which humanity longs most today.

The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

God never gives up on His children, even those who stand with their backs turned to Him. And that is why everyone has a chance. Even if from a human perspective you have lost completely, even if you have lost your dignity and sold yourself out completely, you still have time. Gather yourself, pull yourself together, rise up. Start anew. Try to build on what in you comes from God. Try, because there is only one life.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

If we want to know God, we must beg Him to open Himself before us, to reveal Himself in the reality surrounding us… One must mature for the encounter with Christ… Do we not slam the doors of our hearts shut before Christ by our behavior? To what extent do we seek God in our daily lives?
