Today's Rosary

The Glorious Mysteries - Meditations of Bl. M. Franciszka Siedliska

The Resurrection

You deigned to make me feel in my soul the happiness of Your triumphant resurrection. What a consolation it is, after meditating on Your passion, death, and burial, to be able to contemplate You triumphing over sin, death, and hell.

The Ascension

With the eyes of my soul, I gazed upon and adored my Divine Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, as He, after His glorious ascension, sits in glory and triumph at the right hand of His Eternal Father, full of majesty, greatness, and glory; and He sits as Lord and God, and King, and our Mediator. His most holy wounds, shining with the brightest radiance, plead for mercy for us, reminding the Eternal Father of all that Christ the Lord suffered for us, and drawing down His mercy upon us. They ask, they plead for us, shielding us from the justice of God.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit

Usually on the day of Pentecost, the Lord Jesus would give me fervent sentiments of love, of pleading, and of invoking this Most Holy Spirit into my heart. Lord, may You deign to live, rule, act, and reign in me. May You destroy more and more my natural life and completely transform me. Give me Your life, Your Spirit, Your sentiments, thoughts, and desires.

The Assumption of Mary

My beloved Mother – Mother of the Holy Rosary – in You I place my hope, You have conquered Satan. You will conquer in me, by the grace of Your Divine Son, everything that opposes the kingdom of His Love. ”Mary has chosen the better part, which shall not be taken away from her.” What is this part, my sisters? It is to love Jesus, to live for Jesus, to suffer with Jesus, to give oneself to Jesus, to die with Jesus, to rise again with Him, to lead a life here on earth that will culminate in faithfully possessing Him in heaven.

The Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth

The Blessed Virgin did not live for Herself, She did not seek Herself. She gave Herself entirely to Her Divine Son to share in all His sufferings, to suffer with Him and for Him. She entered into His mind, desires, and sentiments, so as to unite with Him in everything and, out of love, to live the life of Her God, to think, feel, and act like Him, with Him, and for Him. She renounced Herself to become a sacrifice of love in union with Her Son.
