The Annunciation

There is no one closer to the Holy Trinity than Mary; with no one before had It held conversations so close to us and concerning us so much as precisely with Mary in Nazareth. Every human being is authorized to hold such conversations with God. God in His great goodness provides explanations, giving light to the one who asks.

The Visitation

Mary makes us sensitive to others. Have I seen an old man ending his life in hunger? Do I know how many children came to school without breakfast? I must not forget about them when I sit down at the table. Perhaps a meal received in this spirit will straighten my soul, open my eyes? Helping people will become my lifestyle.

The Nativity of Jesus

Even God desired the maternal and tender hands of the Immaculate. And should I consider this desire a weakness? I will sit at the feet of the ”Blessed among women” and trustingly rest my head at the feet that crushed the head of the serpent. I thank You, Father, for the Mother of Your Son. When I see Her, I believe even more deeply that You are the most tender, true Father.

The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

Mary teaches us how we must constantly surrender ourselves and our affairs to God. One must know how to overcome the hunger for possession at all costs. Let us not want all the glory for ourselves, either. Let us not want to be free from effort, toil, and sacrifice. Let us thank God for our entire life. Everything is grace.

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

God wants us to find Him. He wants to liberate us from our small world, to protect us against the narrowness of the heart. In their own homes, people walk past each other, praying the rosary, and continually putting someone else down, committing a kind of vigilante justice. But one must expand their heart and cry out for everyone: ”Our Father.”
