The Annunciation

God sent the angel Gabriel to a Virgin; and the Virgin's name was Mary.(Lk 1:26-27)

The Visitation

At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country. She entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth.(Lk 1:39-40)

The Nativity of Jesus

While Mary and Joseph were in Bethlehem, the time came for Mary to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn Son and wrapped Him in swaddling clothes.(Lk 2:6-7)

The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

According to the Law of Moses, Mary and Joseph brought the Child to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord. As the Parents brought the Child Jesus in, Simeon took Him in his arms and praised God.(Lk 2:22, 27-28)

The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

When the festival was over, while His Parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. They returned to Jerusalem to look for Jesus, but only after three days did they find Him in the temple.(Lk 2:43, 45-46)
